Event Co-Ordinator – Loft Studios is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Events Co-Ordinator to join our passionate team. This role is integral to our events department, where we manage a diverse array of events, from private parties and weddings to corporate events and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Our venue is also known for hosting select ticketed events with larger capacities. Unlike many venues, Loft Studios offers full production services, planning, and creative briefs, providing clients with a personalised and professional experience. As an Events Co-Ordinator, you will work closely with the Head of Events, overseeing events from inception to delivery, ensuring every detail aligns with our high standards of service. Lighting Technician/Driver – Lighting Technician who can also drive vans, required to work for our in-house rental department. Our lighting department consists of the latest stills and motion rental equipment such as Profoto Flash, Arri HMI’s, LED panels, Aputure, Dedo, Kino Flo, Tungsten, Grip, Textiles, Distro & Genny’s. You will prepare rental equipment orders, check off, clean and test equipment once returned, load equipment in and out of studios, and deliver equipment in and around London. Previous experience using professional photo or film lighting equipment preferred but training will be given. You must have a clean license and experience driving vans. 40 hours per week + overtime. Studio Assistant – Loft Studios requires freelance Studios Assistants to join our team. The successful applicant must enjoy the challenge of working in a busy studio environment, be self motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be fully prepared to work hard, long hours and be able to keep a cool head in high pressure situations. Tasks within this role will include: liaising with photographers and their assistants, helping to setup & breakdown lighting and grip equipment, cleaning studios, and painting, maintaining studio’s on a daily basis, taking breakfast and lunches to and from studios. This is a physically demanding role and you must be available to work weekends and some overtime. It’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy studio environment, and suitable for those who wish to become a photography or production assistant as a next step. Event Crew – We are seeking highly motivated Events Crew to work in our thriving events department. This is a freelance role and you must be available on weekends. Tasks include working with our in-house production team and events crew to help deliver incredible events, help install and breakdown decor, installations and distribution rigs, assist technicians with sound and lighting rigs, careful manoeuvring of in house equipment and furniture, return studios to their original state, follow Health and Safety procedures.
